People aren’t sure where the band name comes from, but Dropping Sully’s latest EP, ‘Unvarnished’, was hailed by one critic as “by far the catchiest, most interesting unsigned live record I ever heard.” These four seasoned musicians have been writing original music that can make hips shake and faces melt. Dropping Sully’s sound features a funky backbeat, dynamic two guitar interplay and Chris Robinson-tinged vocals. As a former 98 Rock Noise in the Basement Band of the Month, they have played the big and small stages to critical acclaim. The Band is currently working on a series of “digital 45s” (#DS45s) that will be released in 2013.
